Booking Policy

Welcome to The Play Hut, Congleton. We aim to provide a safe, clean and enjoyable environment for all families. By making a booking or entering The Play Hut, you agree to the following Booking Policy and Terms & Conditions.
1. General Admission & Bookings

All bookings must be made online through our official booking system.

Your booking is only confirmed once payment has been received.

Admission fees are non-refundable
-
Please ensure that you check the date and time before proceeding with booking.

If you’re unable to attend, your booking may be transferred to another session when requested at least 4 hours before the start time, subject to availability.

Entry is only permitted during your booked session or opening hours
-
Please arrive on time - late arrivals cannot be extended or refunded.

Each booking admits the number of children stated on your ticket; additional children require a separate ticket (subject to availability).

Management reserves the right to refuse entry or ask anyone to leave if behaviour is unsafe, disruptive, or disrespectful to staff or guests.
2. Session Times
-
Sessions will be time-limited during peak periods, weekends, and school holidays.
-
Off-peak term-time sessions may be longer or open-ended (subject to capacity).
3. Supervision & Safety
-
All children must be accompanied and supervised by a responsible adult (18+) at all times.
-
Adults are responsible for the safety and behaviour of the children in their care.
-
Socks must be worn by both adults and children in all play areas.
-
No shoes, food, or drinks are permitted inside the play frames or soft-play areas.

To help us keep the play area clean, please make sure children’s hands are clean before entering the soft play

Children who are unwell or have experienced sickness/diarrhoea within the last 48 hours must not enter the play areas.

Age-restricted zones must be respected - the baby/toddler areas are strictly for younger children.

Please report any accidents, spillages, or damage to a member of staff immediately.
4. Cancellations, Refunds & Illness
All bookings are non-refundable - Please ensure that you check the date and time before proceeding with booking.

If you’re unable to attend, your booking may be transferred to another session when requested at least 4 hours before the start time, subject to availability.

Missed or late arrivals cannot be refunded or credited.

In the unlikely event The Play Hut must cancel a session, you will be offered a new date or a refund.

Please do not attend if your child is unwell or has shown symptoms of illness within the last 48 hours.

Refunds cannot be issued due to illness, this policy protects all families using the play centre.
5. Food & Drink
-
Only food and drink purchased from The Play Hut Café may be consumed on the premises.
-
No outside food, picnics, or takeaway drinks are allowed.
-
We cater for allergies and intolerances - please speak to a staff member before ordering.
-
Food and drinks must not be taken into the play frame.
6. Personal Belongings
-
The Play Hut cannot accept responsibility for lost or damaged personal items.
-
Please keep valuables with you at all times.
7. Parties & Group Bookings
-
A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your party booking.
-
Final numbers and full payment must be received at least 7 days before your event.
-
Please inform us of allergies or dietary needs at least 7 days in advance.
-
Guests may arrive no more than 15 minutes before the party start time.
-
You are welcome to bring your own birthday cake; however, no other external food or drink is permitted.
-
All cakes must be accompanied by a full ingredients list to allow us to follow allergy guidelines and safety policies.

The Play Hut team will manage the party setup and cleanup - please respect allocated time slots so we can prepare for the next event.

Party bookings are also subject to our separate full Party Terms & Conditions.
8. SEN Sessions
-
SEN sessions are designed for children with additional needs.
-
These may include reduced lighting, lower music levels, or sensory adjustments.
-
Numbers are limited to maintain a calm and supportive environment - please book in advance.
-
An accessible changing facility is available for children who require additional support.
9. Hygiene & Cleanliness
We pride ourselves on maintaining a high standard of cleanliness.

Play areas are regularly sanitised throughout the day.
-
Please encourage children to follow good hygiene practices and use tissues when needed.

Please ensure children have clean hands before entering the soft play area.
10. Liability

The Play Hut accepts no responsibility for injuries sustained during play, damage to clothing, or loss of personal belongings.

All equipment is used at your own risk.
-
Management may close or restrict play areas for cleaning, maintenance, or private hire without prior notice.
11. Photography & Media
-
You are welcome to take photos of your own children.
-
Please avoid photographing other families without permission.
-
We occasionally take promotional photos/videos - please inform a staff member if you do not wish to be included.
12. Behaviour & Conduct
-
Aggressive, abusive, or antisocial behaviour towards staff or guests will not be tolerated.
-
Damage to equipment (accidental or deliberate) may result in repair or replacement charges.
-
All management decisions regarding safety and conduct are final.
